SysML v2 is here, and it changes what a "model" means. In this video I build a complete delivery drone model from scratch in about 40 lines of SysML v2 text, including a mass rollup, a requirement that checks itself, and a live failure the model catches before any engineer did. Then I show the model in a Git pull request and explain the standard API that lets your whole toolchain talk to it.

Two constraints on the same pump. Both about the same subject. Only one is an obligation.

I've been arguing for months that if you model behavior properly, the requirements and the verification cases are already in there — you don't write them, you derive them.

Every model has exactly one containment hierarchy. You chose it once — usually structural — and it's arbitrary with respect to every other question anyone will ask.

One annotation. Everything else is derived.

Four keywords are the entire annotation vocabulary our SysML v2 requirement derivation reads: #exception, #observable, #precondition, #postcondition.

Author Doug Rosenberg talks through the chapters of the latest release by MBSE4U, published by @TimWeilkiens, co-authored by Doug Rosenberg and @brianMoberley . If you've ever felt pain while modeling systems using SysML, this book is for you!

MBSE Music Video #2025

In this exclusive demonstration, Doug Rosenberg of Parallel Agile — and co-author of AI Assisted MBSE with SysML — showcases how to generate 100% error-free SysML v2 models using ChatGPT-5 from a single prompt.

This video is a demonstration of how you can convert a SysML v2 text model of states to C++ to simulate and interact with the model you've created.

Simulation Basics! With Cameo Simulation Toolkit (Brian’s version)

Doug Rosenberg and Brian Moberley, co-authors of Pain-Free MBSE (PFM), preview the Lunar Lander Simulation created using Cameo Systems Modeler, aka MagicDraw and CATIA Magic.

This video shows an AI plugin for Cameo Systems Modeler / Magic Cyber Systems Engineer (MagicDraw) that integrates AI to automatically create SysML models by prompting for architecture elements.
